CONFESSION
I know I’m supposed to love my neighbor, but like the lawyer in Jesus’s story I question who my neighbor is.
I question if I really have to love people I don’t like.
I question if this command is asking me to be a door mat.
I question how I am supposed to show love.
God, will you show me how to have empathy for my neighbor?
God, will you teach me compassion?
God, will you help me notice my neighbor?
God, will you grant me patience for my neighbor?
God, will you teach me how to love?
